The Annual EMS Tri for Charity will be held in Dubbo, Sunday the 22nd of November, with all proceeds from the event being donated to Make A Wish Australia. The event is for promoting local businesses, raising funds for Make A Wish Australia and encouraging business & individuals to enter mixed teams of three to take part in the short triathlon.
The event consists of a 500m swim, 18km ride and 4km run, with a team member participating in each. Registrations from individuals and sporting groups are also welcomed.
The event will be a great day out for the family with Star FM broadcasting live, BBQ & refreshments, plus a jumping castle, face painting and Frisbee games for families.

The event is designed to raise awareness for Make a Wish, promote community involvement for local businesses and foster team environments within those businesses. 100% of net proceeds from the event will be donated to Make A Wish Australia.
Make A Wish Australia have granted over 8000 wishes to children with life threatening conditions since 1995. Karen McMullen from Make A Wish in Dubbo says ‘Being chosen as the charity to partner with EMS in the Tri for Charity is such an amazing opportunity”

There will be prizes for those teams who place First, Second & Third, the Best Dressed/Most Spirited team prize as well as the Annual Michael Martin Memorial Trophy for the team who finishes closest to their nominated time. The team who races the most donations on their individual Sponsorship Pages will also win a $1000 worth of radio advertisement, thanks to Star FM Dubbo.
Refreshments and a presentation will be at the Amaroo afterwards from 12 midday, with winners announced and the raffles drawn.
